Trust Your Intuition

Welcome to my first newsletter! Thank you for being here! Some rather big changes are happening behind the scenes for me right now and I am so happy to be able to bring you along with me.

As many of you know I’ve been in Bali for a while, but I’m now back in London and feeling like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

I love the buzz and the energy of the city, and I feel there’s a little pep in my step and a sparkle in my eye!

The journey I have been on these past few months has taught me many valuable lessons about life and love, and this newsletter feels like a perfect safe space to share with you the insights I receive and learn along the way.

Reflections of the month

We all have a superpower that is longing to be put to use.

Our intuition.

I’ve recently discovered how strong and powerful this can be, and I am excited to share this with you.

For too long I have ignored a niggling feeling within - an inner voice attempting to guide and support me - but I have shut it out by failing to trust it, leading to some detrimental results. Well, we often learn our lessons the hard way! And I am grateful to have learned mine.

Intuition truly is a human superpower, and I encourage you to lean into yours too. Intuition isn’t loud and sudden (which is more likely to be fear and past trauma speaking), intuition is subtle, loving, and nurturing, which is why we often shut it out because it isn’t as demanding as fear. But intuition has our best interests at heart - it comes from the heart after all.

Practice

Here’s a practice I’d love to share with you to lean into intuition and start to trust your inner wisdom.

Next time you are feeling lost and confused, or you experience that niggling feeling that you cannot ignore, take a moment to sit comfortably in a quiet and private space where you will not be disturbed.

Place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly, and begin to breathe slowly and deeply, allowing your body to relax.

Consciously let go of the racing thoughts in the mental plane, and allow your mind to settle.

Now simply listen to your heart. You can ask specific questions, or give space to allow your heart to provide a guiding message.

I’ve found these messages can often be simple and short, which can feel disappointing to not receive more clarity, but that’s for you to journal on after.

I recently received the simplest message, “Share Your Light”, and that was it! I was curious and asked for more, but nothing came. It all made sense to me once I meditated and journaled on it afterwards. So please don’t be disappointed if even one word or vision comes up. This is from your heart, and it will only ever be to guide and support you on to your divine path, to step into your light.

Trust yourself. Trust your heart. Everything you need is already within, so look within for the answers or guidance you’re searching for. Your heart is the centre of your soul.

Repeat the following affirmation to practice leaning into your intuition:

“I trust myself and my inner wisdom. My intuition is my superpower, and my heart holds the key”.
